Well, this was the first book that I've read by Thomas Carver. I was curious about the kind of sexual play Mr. Carver writes about, and decided to give this one a go. My thoughts on, "What Coach Says."
SPOILER ALERT
Cons
1. Reading about the cup of piss that Dr. Kaleman had to drink, I gagged. That may be some people's kink, but drinking a cup of piss that's mixed with God knows what else does not do it for me. It was just really gross to read about.
2. When the football team lost a game I was waiting for the coach to do naughty stuff to Dr. Kaleman to let out his frustration, but he didn't. I was kind of let down, and I think Mr. Carver missed an opportunity to make the book even better.
3. Why in the world Thomas Carver would you add that the football players and the coach have been having sex with Dr. Kaleman's ex wife? It was an unnecessary add in that served no purpose to the story what so ever.
Pros
Other than what I wrote in the cons section, I liked everything else. The characters were interesting to read about and it was a STEAMY read. As I said in the beginning this is my first book by Thomas Carver and I found that I like the way he writes his sexy scenes. I plan on reading other books and hope they're as steamy as this one ;)
